Kate Crash
Kate Crash
KATE CRASH is a 2 piece dance glam hip pop punk band produced by Nick Launay (yeah yeah yeah's, arcade fire). The over the top live show has been compared to Bowie meets Iggy Pop with some choreographed dancing. LA Weekly calls Kate Crash "the best fusion of art and music".

Amidst shades of crimson poured from red light bulbs, serviced and imbibed by even redder wine whilst a sound machine conditions the air of a dark wood Victorian den, stereo speakers sound the vibrations of words like,

“I don’t mind if all that’s wonderful is buried under what we assume; keep telling me, to lose myself, to be set free…”

PIEL’s lead singer, Tiki Lewis, cultivates the band’s essence while delivering these lyrics in a sultry yet urgent voice in the song “Speakers”. From their electro rock dance hit “Studio 54 (Contagious)” to the moodier Blonde Redhead/Duran Duran tinged “Babble On”, PIEL has been luring even the most skeptical wallflowers onto the dance floor at local Los Angeles venues from Crash Mansion and The Hive art gallery to The Key Club.

Lewis, a South Side Chicago native, steeped in spirit transmissions and tutelage from a stunning array of 80's pop gods, grew up performing in various clubs in her hometown. Her delicate whispers into contagious hooks and full-blown cathartic, unabashed roars mesmerizes audiences and ignites souls. PIEL as a vehicle, if not a temple for Lewis's mantra's, is backed by five Los Angeles natives all having played in their respected L.A. bands, touring both the west coast and nationally. Cultivated from L.A.'s diverse musical underground, Jawnee Burkes (bass) co-founder of Woven/That Noise, Chris Lopez (guitar) - Fire At Play, cousins Tamiye Yahata (taiko/backup vocals) - Ninja Academy and Ken Ramirez (drums) - Paper Pills/That Noise along with Steve Abagon (guitar) co-founder of Woven, who has recorded and performed with artists such as Perry Farrell, Rickie Lee Jones, and Chris Dowd (of o.g. Fishbone fame), have all brought their unique styles to the fold; broadening PIEL's ever changing sound. Today this strong, six piece collective carries the torch of break through material in soul soaring, electro laced, tribal dance romps spiked with punked out liberation frequencies since PIEL's original inception in 2004 with Lewis and Peter Atanasoff of Tito and the Tarantula and Rickie Lee Jones fame.

Following up their debut 2008 release of “Birthmarks and Bruises”, PIEL is currently finishing up the final touches of their new EP mixed by Ulrich Wild (Deftones, Jane’s Addiction, Incubus, Stone Temple Pilots).
Nylon Pink
Nylon Pink
Nylon Pink is an edgy pop-rock band formed in Hollywood California in 2008. United by a mutual love for
Guns N Roses, fashion, and all things pink, the electro rock embody the Hollywood lifestyle, blended with
a dose of anime and rock and roll. The girls have just released their new EP, with songs already featured
on MTV's The Jersey Shore, The Hills, The City, The Real World and The Bad Girl's Club.

Nylon Pink is comprised of lead vocalist Kaila Yu, bassist Kit.E.Katt, lead guitarist Kiki Wongo, rhythm
guitarist Genn Ung, and drummer Jamie Scoles. Nylon Pink formed around two years ago with core
members Kaila Yu and Kit.E.Katt. The recent additions of Genn, Kiki, and Jamie make Nylon Pink the
only all girl Asian-American pop/rock band in America today. With driving hooks, catchy riffs, and a cute
but deadly image, Nylon Pink are set to conquer the world.

Nylon Pink's first single was titled "Hello Drama" which was a fitting lead single as it is also the brand
name for their newly launched jewelry line. The song "Hello Drama" captures the essence of the girl's
lifestyle and personalities. It is a pop-rock song with a hard driving guitar riff and angst filled chorus mixed
with a dash of girlish hope.

The girls go beyond being great musicians-- they want to create an experience and a lifestyle for their
fans. Nylon Pink has also created a jewelry and clothing line which is inspired by their music, lyrics and
lifestyle called Hello Drama Designs. Their designs recently been featured on Nicky Minaj, The Pussycat
Dolls, Kat Von D and Courtney Love among others.

Prior to Nylon Pink, Kaila was a seasoned solo artist and a Myspace notable. She was one of the top
artists Myspace with over 9 million hits and 440K friends. She was picked by Rolling Stone Magazine in
their annual HOT LIST as an artist to watch .

Katt is on the bass and is designer/ stylist for Hello Drama Jewelry whose past credits include designing
for Victoria's Secret, Tonetto, La Blanca.& Volcom.

Kiki Wongo on lead guitars, a killer guitarist with a heavy metal background who moonlights as a fashion
model.

Genn Ung is on rhythm guitars. Genn is a seasoned musician who puts on a fearless and flawless stage
show adding the raw edge to Nylon Pink's live show, on rhythm guitars. As music director for the band
she whips the girls into shape.

Jamie Scoles is the baby of the band, the drumming virtuoso, talented enough to be recently featured as
top artist of the year by RAWartists.org as a solo drum artist at The Henry Fonda Music Box, she is the
solid backbone of the band

Nylon Pink is sponsored by Schecter Guitars, Michael Antonio Shoes, Pearl Drums, Syc Fuk Clothing,
Syc Luv by Holly Madison, Zildjian Cymbals, YMI Jeans
